C.K Akunnor drops Ghana Premier League top Scorer and 12 others from the Black Stars Squad

Black Stars Coach C.K Akunnor drops Diawisie Taylor and 12 of his colleagues as he prepares to naming his final squad tomorrow.

C.K Akonnor drops Justice Blay, Diawisie Taylor & 11 others from the Black Stars squad.

The players dropped from the squad include Medeama hot-cake Justice Blay as well as leading scorer Diawisie Taylor have both been dropped by the former Ghana international.

Asante Kotoko defender Christopher Nettey has been dropped alongside Ibrahim Moro. King Faisal goal poacher Kwame Peprah would also have to pack his bags and baggage as he has been dropped from the squad.

Mitchelle Otu, Joseph Agyei, Joseph Addo, Rashid Nortey, Yaw Annor Yamudeen Haruna as well as Konadu Yiadom of WAFA have all been dropped from the squad.

C.K Akunnor is expected to name his final squad ahead of the Afcon qualifiers double header against South Africa and Sao Tome.

The remaining local based players in the squad will be joined by their colleagues from abroad.
Captain Andrew Ayew and Vice Captain Thomas Partey and a handful of player in the United Kingdom are expected to missed the first leg, as the UK covid-19 protocols wouldn’t allow them to travel to south Africa and come back on time.

Ghana lead Group C with 9 points in a group that has South Africa, Sudan and Sao Tome and Principe.
