Breaking News: Steadfast FC Stadium home ban lifted, Nsoatreman FC fined GHC3,000.00
The Ghana Football Association has revoked the temporary home ban placed on Steadfast FC after their match Day 25 encounter against Nsoatreman FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Nsoatreman FC after the match claimed they were attacked and beaten by the steadfast FC supporters. They also claim they were kept hostage by the home team.
Steadfast FC in their defense stated emphatically that, Nsoatreman FC team was never attacked nor beaten by any supporter in Tamale. They also stated that enough security was provided for the match and the home team again used their team bus to convey Nsoatreman FC players and technical team out of the stadium.
Steadfast FC again make it clear that the security officers on duty ensured the safety of all the players after the match and non was held hostage.
The committee in their ruling revoked the stadium ban and fined the club GHC3,000.00.
Nsoatreman FC are also fined GHC3,000.00 for making a false claim that the GFA is aiding Tamale City qualification to the Premier League.
Nsoatreman FC in their press Conference made false claim that the Ghana Football Association aided Real Tamale United to qualify to the Premier League last season against Bono teams. This is in breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Division One League Regulations 2019
The committee in their ruling warned Nsoatreman FC that, any future misconduct will receive severe punishment.
Steadfast FC to play their Match Day 29 on Saturday, 4th June, 2022 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium against Kintampo FC.
