Steadfast FC, a club recently relegated to Division Two, has made a significant move to bolster its technical team by appointing Coach Alhassan Dawuo as Technical Director. Known as one of the most vibrant coaches in Northern Ghana and beyond, Dawuo is expected to manage the technical directorate and enhance the club’s player scouting efforts.

Steadfast FC is determined to regain its status and has made strategic efforts to strengthen both its squad and technical team as it prepares for the upcoming Division Two league. The club is on standby this weekend, ready to kick off its journey back to higher competition levels.

Coach Alhassan Dawuo’s career in football management dates back to September 20, 1983, when he first took charge of Tamale Real Republicans FC. His dedication and contributions to the sport have left an indelible mark, influencing not just players in the Northern Region but across Ghana. Dawuo’s passion and expertise have not only brought victories on the field but have also inspired generations of football enthusiasts.

Dawuo’s influence has been particularly notable in the National Milo Games Championship, where he played a pivotal role in leading Tamale Real Republicans to success. The pinnacle of his coaching came in 1994 when the team finished as runners-up in Kumasi, earning individual accolades as he was recognized as the Best Coach of the tournament.

In 1996, Dawuo guided the team to a commendable third-place finish in the Milo Games held in Accra, followed by a triumphant victory in the Milo National Championship in Koforidua in 1998. He achieved this feat again in Bolga in 2005, marking a historic milestone in his coaching career. Additionally, he served as the interim coach of Real Tamale United in 2012, further solidifying his reputation in the region.

With Coach Dawuo at the helm, Steadfast FC is optimistic about its prospects in the upcoming season, aiming to reclaim its position in Ghanaian football. The club looks forward to leveraging his extensive experience and leadership to inspire both players and fans alike as they embark on this new chapter.
