BREAKING NEWS : NORTHERN REGION WOMEN’S CLUBS PEACE GALA MATCHES POSTPONED.

The Women’s Clubs in Northern Region were to engage in Peace Gala Matches starting from Monday, 28th December, 2020 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium Annexes. The competition would have taken about five days to complete. But the competition has been postponed until further notice.

According to sources closer to the Women’s Clubs Association in Northern Region, ill preparation is the reason for the postponement. The source also disclosed that the organizers of the competition were supposed to meet the representatives of the participating clubs on Saturday, 26th December, 2020 to finalize on all matters relating to the competition but the meeting could not come on due to unmentioned reasons. The source again revealed that the meeting could be held on Monday, 28th December, 2020 and a new date for the competition could be announced in the meeting.
