Breaking News : Manchester United Reach Agreement to Re-Sign Christiano Ronaldo
Manchester United have reached an agreement with their former star, Christiano Ronaldo from Serie A side, Juventus. The red devil will pay €25m to Juventus. CR7 will also be entitled to £480,000 a week on two year contract.
United said the deal for the 36-year-old five-time Ballon d’Or winner was subject to personal terms, visa and a medical.
Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 games in his first spell at Old Trafford before leaving for Real Madrid in 2009.
“Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester,” said a United statement.
Manchester City was ripped to sign him but turned down the opportunity to do so after failing to offer him more than one year contract. The sky blues insisted they would only give CR7 one year contract which was not accepted by the and his agent, Jorge Mende.
Christiano Ronaldo, 36 played for Manchester United under Alex Ferguson before he moved to Real Madrid in 2008. The high flying Attacker then moved to Juventus last two seasons.
