Latest News: GFA goes to court tomorrow on the injunction case

Ghana Football Association is expected to appear before the Human Rights Court to oppose the motion on an injunction on the BetPawa Premier League by Ashgold.

 

The elite football in Ghana is currently on suspension following an injunction case filed at the Humane Rights court by Ashgold SC after the club was demoted to division two and subsequently suspended.

Rumor has it that GFA filed a collective affidavit in opposition to Ashgold motion on Wednesday, 19th October 2022. But the information available indicates that the court asked for individual affidavits instead of a a collective affidavits.

This according to the rumor could force the case adjourned to Tuesday, 25-10-2022.

 

Ashgold SC lawyer is expected to move the motion case tomorrow Thursday, 20th October, 2022 after the court granted their plea to file additional affidavit.

 

A decision tomorrow will either bring back the PetPawa Premier League or the suspension continues.
