The secretary of SWAG, Northern Region, Abubakari Yussif applauded Mubarak Wakaso for what he has done but called on him for more support for SWAG and its members.
Mubarak Wakaso also donated a lot of football equipment and materials such as sets of jerseys, cones, bibs and Markers to some football clubs in Tamale when he visited the Northern Regional capital after the Black Stars matches against Ethiopia and South Africa earlier this month.
Wakaso was also at Kalandan Park, Tamale to witness the final match and closing ceremony of his sponsored competition, Wakaso Annual Challenge Cup. The competition was won by his former club, Great Eagles Fc.
