Black Stars and Chelsea Player, Baba Rahman Boosts Alhaj Rhyzo’s Referees Revolving Fund With GHC4000.00
The Referees Revolving Fund was set up by the present Northern Regional Football Association’s Chairman, Alhaj Abu Hassan to take care of the challenges facing referees in traveling anytime they get appointments. A seed capital of Ghc 3,000.00 was provided by Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzo.
The fund has received a boost of Ghc 4, 000.00 from Black Stars and Chelsea left wing back, Baba Rahman. The cash donation was presented to the Northern Regional Football Association in a ceremony at the NRFA Office on Monday, 21st June, 20201.
The former Young Meteors man, Baba Rahman also made some donations of Football equipment and materials ranging from footballs, cones and bibs to Tamale Metro Football Association and the Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association. Cash donations was also made to the Northern Regional Football Association, Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association and Tamale Metro Football Association to help run their offices.
The Chairman of NRFA, Alhaji Abu Hassan Mahama Rhyzo expressed his gratitude to the dazzling and pacy left wing back for having the development of football in Northern Region at heart. He however urged other players to follow Baba Rahaman’s suit.
Baba Rahman is currently on loan at POAK in Greece from Chelsea but currently enjoying his holidays in his native town, Tamale.
