They lost the first leg by 3-1 and there after lost the second leg by 2-1.

Paa Kwasi Fabian went for the tour with less hope as many of his players were withdrawn by their teams in the Ghana Premier League as the title race looks tight this season.
Including current leading scorer Diawisie Taylor and Salifu Ibrahim of Accra Hearts Of Oak who are doing so much for their respective team’s.

The Black Meteors ended their Asian tour conceding 15 goals, scoring 2 goals and losses all the 4 games.

Upon their defeat GFA President Kurt Okraku believes the results was not what they were expecting but to build a strong team.

But the results should not be an issue according to GFA President Kurt Okraku. Kurt believes that the team will learn from the games and improve their performance in subsequent matches.

“Our intention is to build our national teams Independent of competitions. We decided to play Japan and Korea for a purpose. We shouldn’t place too much premium on the results of these matches. I am very positive about tomorrow because we are sacrificing our today for our tomorrow”.
