Black Maiden goalkeeper Ameyenku Afi donates to former club Tamale Super Ladies FC

Northern Ladies FC player and Black Maiden goalkeeper Ameyenku Afi has presented a set of jersey and a football to her former club Tamale Super Ladies FC. The presentation was done on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022 at the club’s training grounds in Kulikuli School Park.
The technical team and the playing body expressed gratitude to the Black Maiden goalkeeper for the kind gesture.
Interacting with sportsmrnews.com, the team captain Zulaiha expressed their delight and thanked Afi for the gifts and assured her that they will put the items to good use.
Ameyenku Afi, joined Tamale Super Ladies from Kpanvo Future Ladies in 2016. She won three Gold Medals with the club for two times in Kumbungu and in Nantong. Ameyenku Afi also won Bronze and Silver for the club. Afi also played one full season for the club in Regional Women’s Division Two League. Afi also won Best Goalkeeper award four times in Unity Games Competition two times in Kumbungu, Nantog and Kasaligu.
Ameyenku Afi was later transfered to her present club Northern Ladies FC in 2021.
Tamale Super Ladies FC is currently top of the table in the ongoing Regional Women’s Division One League after match day 14. They currently unbeaten with 12 wins and 2 draw. They play their match against Kpanvo Future Ladies, a former club of Afi on Wednesday, 15th June, 2022.
