Black Leopards appoints former Hearts of Oak Coach Papic Kosta as Technical Director
Black Leopards has confirmed the appointment of former Accra Hearts of Oak coach Papic Kosta as their new technical director.
Leopards have been without a substantive manager since Dylan Kerr parted ways with the club during his second spell.
The former Kaizee chiefs, Enyimba and Orlando Pirates boss Papic left Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in controversial circumstances on Tuesday this week citing “partly personal” reasons for his resignation.
According to Chief Thidiela, the former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs head coach will be in charge of all the technical matters at the club for the senior team and juniors.
Papic tendered his resignation letter to the board accusing them of interfering in his player selections. He previously lead the club to win the Ghana Premier League in 2009, and was back in his second spell to try to turned the teams fortunes around after they started poorly in their opening games.
The club chief believes the coach can steer them to safety in the DSTV premiership as a Technical Director.
