Barcelona records an important comeback to reach Copa Del Ray finals
Barcelona with a comeback against Sevilla, now looking on to the Champions league reverse fixture against Paris Saint Germain to try another comeback against the French giants who they had once did it against in 2017.
Sevilla fc won the first leg by 2-0 against Barcelona but a rejuvenated Barca forced the game into extra time thanks to an injury time goal from defender Gerard Pique.
With a nice strike from Ousmane Dembele in the 12th minutes to give Barcelona the lead. Sevilla who drop back before the goal, had to come out in chase of a goal to deepen the wounds of the Catalans. With Barcelona talisman Messi always trying to cause them troubles, they managed to contain the Argentine until the half time whistle was blown for end of proceedings.
During the second half Sevilla were again force to defend as the Catalans takes full control of the game, with Dembele and Pedri doing the damage.
It wasnt long when Ocampus came in to replace Torres, then in the 73 minutes he was brought down by Barcelona defender Oscar Minguesa, which t the referee rightly pointed to the spot kick, Ocampus took the penalty but was denied by Terstergen.
Barcelona hope of qualifying grew stronger after the penalty miss. Then came the moment of Magic when Gerard Pique scored in four minutes after 90 minutes to force the game into an extra 30 minutes.
Barcelona in just five minutes after play resumed, scored to make it 3-0 through Martin Braithwhite in the 95th minute.
Two red cards from Fernando and Luuk De Jong stampeded on Sevilla chances of Progressing to the grand finale.
Barcelona have succeeded in making a comeback against Sevilla, and now all attention will turn to their game against Osasuna on weekends.
After that they will be back in Champions league action against Paris Saint Germain to try to overturn a 1-4 home defeat against the French club.
