Another Brilliant Performance by Baba Rahaman in PAOK’S 4-2 Win over Olympiacos Piraeus.
Black Stars left full back, Baba Rahaman put up another fantastic performance at the weekend in his side 4-2 win over Olympiacos Piraeus. Baba lasted the entire duration of the match and provided an assist for A. Zivkovic to score on the 38th minute of the match.
The former Chelsea and Schelke 04 player has been consistent in performance for his side, PAOK Fc in the 2023/2024 season. Baba Rahaman is known for his attacking abilities and has been doing it to perfection for PAOK Fc.
PAOK Fc opened the scoring in the 38th minute through A. Zivkovic before Brandon Thomas doubled the lead through spot kick on the 56th minute. Brandon Thomas grab his brace when he made it three for PAOK before M. Ozdoev made it four. Olympiacos Piraeus pulled two goals back through Konstantinos Fortounis and G. Masouras respectively.
Rahman played every minute of Ghana’s campaign at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, providing the cross from which André Ayew headed in the winner against South Africa to win Group C. In the final against the Ivory Coast, Rahman scored in the penalty shootout in which his team lost.
29 year old was selected for Ghana’s final squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and provided an assist during his side’s opening match against Portugal; he produced the cross which was headed into goal by Osman Bukari
