Alhaj Imrana Iddrisu Donates Jerseys to Tamale Real Republicans U-10 Team

Former Tamale Real Republicans FC player, Alhaj Imrana Iddrisu, popularly known as “Capito,” has donated a set of jerseys to the club’s U-10 team. The presentation took place on Monday, December 30, 2025, at the club’s venue, Kalandan Park following a reunion match between former and current players.

Speaking at the event, Alhaj Imrana highlighted that support for the club often focuses on senior teams, neglecting grassroots development. He pledged to collaborate with other former players to mobilize additional resources for the younger teams.

Alhaj Imrana, who captained Tamale Real Republicans FC in the late 1990s, enjoyed a professional career with Udinese, Novara Calcio, both in Italy and Atlético Lanus in Argentina before returning to Ghana. He is now a football coach and a member of the sports department at Tamale Technical University (TATU).

As part of their annual friendly match, the club’s former players also donated assorted drinks and water to the team and assured ongoing support to foster the club’s growth.
