Abdulai Salamatu Nte Donates Cash to Her Girlhood Club, Bagabaga Ladies FC

Abdulai Salamatu, affectionately known as Nte, has extended a heartfelt gesture to her roots by donating a cash amount of GHC 3,000 to Bagabaga Ladies FC, the club where her football journey began.

The donation was made in person by the talented footballer during a visit to the team in Gushegu, where Bagabaga Ladies FC was engaged in a friendly match.

Since joining Swieqi United FC in Malta, Salamatu has remained a strong supporter of her former club. Her impressive exploits in Malta have earned her multiple accolades, including the Top Scorer Award, Most Promising Player Award, and trophies with both the youth and senior teams of Swieqi United FC.

Recognized for her skill and determination, Salamatu is widely seen as one of the rising stars in women’s football, with a bright future ahead.

Bagabaga Ladies FC, who finished third in the 2024/2025 Northern Regional Women’s Division One League, are hopeful of an even stronger performance next season, inspired in part by the continued support of their celebrated alumna.
