Abdulai Salamatu Leaves for Black Queens Camp after Scoring a Brace Against Yoo Ladies Fc.

Bagabaga Ladies dependable attacker, Abdulai Salamatu, affectionately called Nte has left Tamale for Black Queens camp in Accra on Sunday, 15th January, 2023 after scoring a brace against Yoo Ladies Fc. The Savelugu based Yoo Ladies Fc hosted Bagabaga Ladies Fc in the Women’s FA Cup Preliminary stages. The match ended 3-2 in favor of Salamatu’s side, Bagabaga Ladies.

 

 

Last month, December 2022, Abdulai Salamatu was adjudged the top scorer of the Women’s Unity Cup that took place in Walewale. The young skilful striker scored 6 goals in 5 matches in the tournament.

 

 

Abdulai Salamatu has already represented Ghana at U-17 and U-20 levels. She was top scorer for Black Maidens during the female U-17 World Cup Qualifiers. She was also part of the Black Princesses team that went to Costa Rica for the female U-20 world cup and played in all the group stage matches.

 

 

The Technical Team of Black Queens are doing screening exercise to identify players that can fit well into the Queens squad for competitions. Abdulai Salamatu is one of the talented female footballers in the country with national teams experience. It is heavily expected that she will make it into the potential Black Queens Team.
