Abdul Fatawu Issahaku continues his master class form with another headline goal against Mighty Royals

Ghana U-20 Star Abdul Fataw Issahaku won the MVP player award during Steadfast Fc 2-1 victory over Wamanafo Mighty Royals on Sunday at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.

The wonder kid stole the show earlier in the first half with a fine taken free kick in a tight angle. That goal was his seventh in six games. He also beat his marker on the 17th minutes to provide a low cross for Alhassan Siisu to double his teams lead.

In addition to his seven goals, the sensational star has also provided six assist and won five MVP awards so far this season.

This year has been good for the former Tamale Utrecht Football Academy player, he captained the U-17 team to Togo for the WAFU Zone B tournament where he scored against Nigeria, soon after his return he got a call up to the Black Satellites for the Afcon U-20 Championship in Mauritania.

He scored some two headline goals and provided another assist to help Ghana lift the trophy, His performance for the Satellites in the tournament earned him the MVP award in the tournament, he was then given a call up to the Black Stars but later asked to join the Black Stars B team for their friendly against Uzbekistan, he scored another marvelous free kick to put Ghana to levelled terms before the Uzbekistan,s scored late to win the game.

Since his return he has been a threat to opposition defenders, he scored a hat trick against Wa Suntaa SC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium and today he scored another marvelous free kick from a tight angle.

He singlehandedly beautified the ugly game which helped Steadfast to climb top of the table after Berekum Arsenals was beaten 1-0 by B.A United.

Next for Fataw and Steadfast is a trip to Sunyani for a top of the table clash against Berekum Arsenals.
