Bagabaga Ladies FC win protest case against Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC for fielding unqualified players

The Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) Disciplinary Committee has Bagabaga Ladies FC winners of their protest case Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC for fielding unqualified player.
Bagabaga Ladies FC file a protest against Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC for fielding unqualified players in the match between the two sides which was played at the Kumbungu SHS park on the 8th April, 2022 contrary to Article 25(1)(a), 28(1)(a), 28(2)(a) and 33(1)(e).
Bagabaga Ladies FC stated that Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC have not duly registered six (6) of their players for the match.
The players in contention are:
- Fuseina Musah
- Asana Abukari
- Warahama Nurudeen
- Ayisha Musah
- Rashida Alhassan
- Wasila Sulemana
The Disciplinary Committee upon investigations found out that the six players were not registered for the 2921/2022 season.
According to the ruling, Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC have been deem to have lost the match and hence 3 points and 3 goals will be awarded to Bagabaga Ladies. In addition, 3 points will be deducted from Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC accumulated points.
Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC are again fined a sum of GHC600 and an additional GHC200 which will paid to Bagabaga Ladies FC as transportation.
