GPL : Real Tamale United Outdoors New Players in a Short Ceremony at Aliu Mahama Stadium.
The Pride of the North, Real Tamale United Unveiled 12 newly signed players in a short ceremony held in a Conference Hall at Aliu Mahama Stadium on Friday, 8th October, 2021. RTU is preparing adequately for the 2021/2022 Premier League campaign. Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side will open the Season’s campaign at Aliu Mahama Stadium on 29th October, 2021 with a match against Accra based Great Olympics. RTU, Way-Una have been training and playing friendly matches for several weeks now and seem to be ready for the new season.
To help the club compete well in the Ghana Premier League, the management of the club has added new faces to the side.
Fourteen (12) Players have been added to the squad that brought back RTU to the Ghana Premier League.

Kwame Boateng — Unity FC
Prince Atta Antwi — Mighty Royals FC
Effah Francis — Mighty Royals FC
Ishmael Nketia — Mighty Royals FC
Abdulai Hafiz– Bolga All Stars FC.
Osei Yaw–Berekum Arsenal FC.
Bismark Aidoo– Bekwai Youth Academy.
Mohammed Yussif Nurudeen– Tamale City.
Appiah Yaw discovered from University Games.
Mohammed Yakubu– kumbungu Bimbiem FC
Listowell Amankona– Bechem United FC.
David Abagna– Ashgold SC.
The new CEO of the club, Mr Kassim Perez used the opportunity to call on the fans and supporters to remain calm and stay united for a new and better RTU.
